Wełdkówko

Wełdkówko (German name. Klein Voldekow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the municipality of Tychowo ( Groß Tychow ) in the Białogard ( Belgard ) district.

Geographical location

Wełdkówko is located 38 kilometers southeast of the district town of Białogard and eleven kilometers northeast of Tychowo near the voivodship road No. 169 (Białogard -) Byszyno ( Boissin ) - Tychowo - Głodawa ( Goldbeck ) (- Bobolice ( Biblitz )) with a branch in Warnino . The nearest train station is Tychowo along the route Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg ) - Białogard - Szczecinek ( Neustettin ) - Pila ( Pila ) - Poznan ( Poznan ).

Local knowledge

Klein Voldekow was an independent manor district until 1928, which was then incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Warnin (now in Polish: Warnino). The municipality of Warnin and the municipality of Kowalk (Kowalki) formed the district, registry office and police district of Warnin in the district court area of Belgard (Białogard) in the district of Belgard (Persante) until 1945 .

At the beginning of March 1945 the place was occupied by Russian troops. As a result of the war , the place became Polish. The German population was expelled , and today Wełdkówko is part of the Gmina Tychowo in the powiat Białogardzki .

Until 1945 Klein Voldekow was parish in the parish of Schwellin and belonged to the church district Bublitz (Bobolice) of the church province of Pomerania in the Protestant church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today Wełdkówko is integrated into the parish Koszalin ( Köslin ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church .
