Clay Research Award

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Clay Research Award is a science award that has been presented annually by the Clay Mathematics Institute for groundbreaking achievements in mathematics since 1999 .

The Clay Award for Dissemination of Mathematical Knowledge is given for personal contributions to mathematical research at the highest level and for the dissemination of new knowledge to the general public. It is awarded after a public lecture by the winner and only from time to time without a fixed cycle (for the first time in 2015).
