Clemens August Droste zu Vischering (* 1724 ; † November 14, 1762 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Origin and family

Clemens August Droste zu Vischering came from the Westphalian noble family Droste zu Vischering , one of the most important families in Westphalia. Numerous well-known personalities have emerged from it. Clemens August was the son of Maximilian Heidenreich Droste zu Vischering and his wife Maria Catharina von Frentz zu Kendenich. Ferdinand Gottfried Droste zu Vischering was his half-brother, who came from his father's first marriage to Maria Antonia / Gaudentia Wilhelmina Josefa zu Büren and Ringelstein von Schenking zu Beveren and Asbeck (1687-1718). Clemens' second half-brother was Adolf Heidenreich , the builder of the Erbdrostenhof in Munster.

Act

In 1746, Clemens August was by abandoning the canon Franz Ludolph of Hoerde to Eringerfeld a Dompräbende in Munster . On July 7th of that year he took possession of the prebende. He was emancipated on September 30, 1747. Clemens August was an assessor in the cathedral winery.
