Maximilian Heidenreich Droste zu Vischering (born April 18, 1684 in Darfeld , † November 23, 1751 in Munster ) was official droste and privy councilor.

Life

Origin and family

Maximilian Heidenreich was born as the son of Christoph Heidenreich Droste zu Vischering and his wife Klara Brigitta von Galen zu Assen . On November 15, 1707, he married Maria Antonia / Gaudentia Wilhelmina Josefa zu Büren and Ringelstein von Schenking zu Beveren and Asbeck (1687–1718), who brought their mother Antoinette's extensive estate into the marriage, u. a. House Vorhelm and House Bevern . There were five children from this marriage, including Adolf Heidenreich and Anna Brigitta (married to Heinrich Wilhelm Droste zu Hülshoff in 1729 , mother of Heinrich-Johann von Droste zu Hülshoff and great-grandmother of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff ). He concluded his second marriage on October 14, 1721 in Münster with Maria Katharina Raitz von Frentz zu Kendenich. There were three children from this marriage, including Clemens August Maria (born March 26, 1724). His daughter Anna Elisabeth Henrika Maria, who was married to Franz Otto von Korff called Schmising zu Tatenhausen , came from his marriage to Anna Maria Ursula Rosina Ameke von Wrede zu Brünninghausen on July 25, 1726 .

Career

In 1700 and 1702 he studied in Mainz , Strasbourg and Prague . Like many of the family members, he was sworn up to the knighthood of Münster . As his father's successor, he was sworn in as Drost zu Ahaus and Horstmar on April 27, 1723 and remained in this office until his death. He received his appointment as a privy councilor on December 16, 1723 and on July 23, 1728 he became Grand Cross of the Order of St. Michael . Maximilian was the master and hereditary comfort .
