Clemens Krauss works primarily with the media of painting, installation and video. The "central request" of Krauss lies in "the reflection and artistic examination of the program of the human body today."

Both in the paintings, which typically have a centimeter thick application of paint, as well as in the sculptural and video works, social aspects are repeatedly addressed. "The bond that holds his works together is the question of what constitutes human identity."
