Cliff Allister

Cliff Allister (actually Harald Hess ; born June 4, 1957 in Friedrichsdorf ) is a German science fiction author.

Life

After studying to become a teacher, Hess went abroad in 1985 and opened a diving school in Bequia / St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean in 1989 . From 2007 to 2016 he ran a diving school in Dahab , Egypt , which he set up together with his wife Eva. Since October 2017 he has been living as a freelance writer in Tala near Paphos in Cyprus .

Since 2015, Hess has had more than 20 Science under the pseudonym Cliff Allister - which he chose based on the first names of Cliff Allister McLane, the commander of the Orion spaceship from the television series Raumpatrouille , for which, like many others, he was very enthusiastic about as a child Fiction novels published. His works are mostly in several volumes and appear consistently initially as e-books on Amazon Kindle and as self-published print editions and in some cases also as licensed editions by Belle Époque Verlag .

Awards

The novel HELIUM-3: Kampf um die Zukunft , written together with Brandon Q. Morris , was voted the best German-language science fiction novel of the year with the SKOUTZ award in a nationwide readers' vote in 2019.
