Varwara Nazarova ( Russian Варвара Назарова , English transcription Varvara Nazarova ; born July 2, 1997 ) is a Kazakh javelin thrower .

Athletic career

Varvara Nasarowa gained her first international experience in 2013 at the World Youth Championships in Donetsk , where she was eliminated from the qualification with a width of 48.48 m. Then she was at the Youth Asian Games in Nanjing with 44.47 m fifth. The following year she qualified for the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, where she finished fourth in the B final with 46.20 m. In 2016 she won the bronze medal at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City with a new national record of 52.76 m and then retired from the qualification at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with 46.17 m. In 2017, she finished eleventh at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar with 49.56 m and was eliminated from the qualification at the Summer Universiade in Taipei with 48.24 m.

From 2017 to 2019, Nazarova became the Kazakh javelin champion.
