Clyde Scott
Clyde Luther Scott (born August 29, 1924 in Dixie , Louisiana - † January 30, 2018 ) was an American hurdler and American football player.
As a student at the University of Arkansas , he became NCAA champion in the 110-meter hurdles in 1948 . In the same year he won the silver medal in this discipline at the Olympic Games in London .
He subsequently played as a running back with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Lions in the National Football League (NFL).
Scott died on January 30, 2018 at the age of 93.
