The Codex Tischendorfianus III ( Gregory-Aland no. Λ or 039 ; von Soden ε 77) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament , which is dated to the 9th century.
content
The manuscript consists of the Gospel according to Luke and that of John on 157 sheets of parchment. The format is 21 × 16.5 cm, the text is in two columns with 23 lines. The uncial letters are small, not beautiful and inclined. The letters are called Slavic uncials. Accents as well as alcohol asper and lenis are available.
It contains κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections, Eusebian Canon , and Lectionary markings.

The Greek text of the Codex represents the Byzantine text type . The text of the Codex is assigned to Category V.
history
Konstantin von Tischendorf brought this manuscript from the East in 1853 and carried it to Oxford.
The codex is kept in the Bodleian Library (Auctarium T. infr 1.1) in Oxford .
