Coldrain is an alternative rock and post-hardcore band from Japan , formed in 2007 in Nagoya .

history

At first she only performed live in her home region. The lyrics are in English and are written by the singer Masato, who is half of American descent. In 2008 the band was signed by the Japanese label VAP and released their first single Fiction . After a tour the second single 8am followed in 2009 , and in the summer of that year the band performed at the Summer Sonic Festival . The debut album Final Destination was released in October and reached number 88 on the Oricon album chart. In June 2010 the mini album Nothing Lasts Forever followed, followed by the second album The Enemy Inside (2011). The EP Through Clarity , released in summer 2012, reached number 14 on the Japanese album charts. In February 2014 the band started a European tour with the German band Callejon and Welsh band Bullet for my Valentine as headliners.

Four of the group's songs were used in anime : "Mayday (ft. Ryo) in" Fire Force ", 8am in Hajime no Ippo New Challenger ," Feed the Fire "in" Ousama Game "and We're Not Alone in Rainbow: Nisha Rokubo no Shichinin .
