The Cole Channel is a strait off the Loubet coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It runs in a north-south direction between the Wright Peninsula of Adelaide Island and Wyatt Island in the Laubeuf Fjord .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the canal in 1984 after Maurice John Cole (* 1935), captain of the whaler Bransfield in the service of the British Antarctic Survey in 1975.
