The Cole Point is a headland at the southern end of the Dean Island in the middle of the Getz Ice Shelf off the Hobbs coast of the west Antarctic Marie Byrd Land .
The United States Geological Survey mapped the headland based on its own surveys and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1974 after Lawrence M. Cole, a construction worker at Byrd Station in 1969.
