Colin Friels
Colin Friels (born September 25, 1952 in Kilwinning , Ayrshire , Scotland ) is a Scottish- Australian actor who came to Australia at the age of 15 .
Life
After school, Friels went to the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia, where he graduated in 1976. Afterwards he found opportunities to show his skills as an actor in many theater plays as well as film and television productions. He played Hamlet and Macbeth , among others .
His first international film was Malcolm , for which he was named 'Best Actor' by the Australian Film Institute.
Friels has been married to Judy Davis since 1984 and has two children.
