Colin Kapp

Derek Ivor Colin Kapp (born April 3, 1928 in South London , UK ; died August 3, 2007 in Chichester , Sussex ) was a British science fiction writer.

Life

Kapp was the son of John LF Kapp and Annie MA Kapp, nee Towner. He worked as an electrical engineer, initially at Mullard Radio Valve Company and later as a freelance electroplating specialist , and wrote science fiction as a sideline. His first short story, Life Plan , appeared in New Worlds magazine in 1958 . In 2007, Kapp died at the age of 79.
