Columbian Neckties is a rock band from Aalborg , Denmark, founded in 1999 . They describe their music as rock 'n' roll inspired punk rock and are often compared in the press with the New Bomb Turks or the Saints . After first appearances in Denmark, including at the “Adios Moshable Festival” in Copenhagen , the band toured Europe regularly, and in 2004 they performed in Japan and the USA. They accompanied the Hellacopters on their last European tour and thus became an integral part of the Scandinavian music scene.
