Columbio ( Filipino : Bayan ng Columbio ) is a Filipino municipality in the Sultan Kudarat Province , Administrative Region XII, SOCCSKSARGEN. It has 33,258 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 16 barangays . It is classified as a first income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Columbio is located in the Cotabato Valley, approx. 44 km east of Tacurong City . Its neighboring communities are Tulunan in the north, Datu Paglas in the northwest, Lutayan in the west, Malalag , Matanao , Magsaysay and Kiblawan in the east, and Tampakan in the south.
