Kalamansig ( Filipino : Bayan ng Kalamansig ) is a Filipino municipality in the province of Sultan Kudarat , Administrative Region XII, SOCCSKSARGEN. It has 66,095 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 15 barangays . It is classified as a first income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Kalamansig is located in the west of the province, on the coast of the Gulf of Moro , approx. 185 km west of Tacurong City and accessible via the Shariff Aguak-Cotabato City Road. In the interior of the municipality, the rugged foothills of the Daguma Mountains rise . Their neighboring communities are Lebak in the north, Palimbang in the south, Sen. Ninoy Aquino and Isulan in the east.
