The Communauté d'agglomération du Pays de Meaux (before 2017) is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It was founded on December 28, 2002 and last comprised 18 parishes. The administrative seat was in the place Meaux .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association was merged with the Communauté de communes des Monts de la Goële and thus the new Communauté d'agglomération du Pays de Meaux was founded. Despite having the same name as the previous organization, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
