The Communauté de communes Sources de la Loire is a former French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Ardèche department , whose administrative headquarters were in the town of Saint-Cirgues-en-Montagne . It was located on the western edge of the department in the Massif Central on a sparsely populated plateau in the headwaters (French source ) of the Loire . The community association founded at the end of 2005 consisted of eight communities on an area of 218.8 km 2 .
tasks
The competencies required included developing and promoting economic activities and tourism. The community association determined the housing policy and operated the garbage collection, the road maintenance and the rescue services.
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes Cévenne et Montagne Ardéchoises and the Communauté de communes Entre Loire et Allier and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes de la Montagne d'Ardèche .
