The Communauté de communes du Nord du Bassin de Thau is a former French community association with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Hérault department in the Occitania region . It was founded on December 21, 2000 and comprised six parishes. The administrative seat was in Villeveyrac . The community association was north of the eponymous lagoon lake Étang de Thau .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Communauté d'agglomération du Bassin de Thau (before 2017) and thus formed the successor organization Communauté d'agglomération du Bassin de Thau . Despite having the same name as the previous organization, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
