The Communauté d'agglomération du Bassin de Thau is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . It was founded on January 1, 2017 and comprises 14 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Frontignan .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

Despite having the same name as the previous organization, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
