The Communauté de communes du Val d'Oust et de Lanvaux is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany , whose catchment area was the east of the department. The community association founded on July 2, 1992 consisted of 14 communities, the administrative seat was in Malestroit .
tasks
The competencies required included the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning based on a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association also operated the sewage disposal.
Historical development
The Communauté de communes du Val d'Oust et de Lanvaux started on July 2, 1992 and was the first Communauté de communes in France. With the exception of Monterrein, all the municipalities of the canton of Malestroit , the municipalities of Saint-Congard and Saint-Laurent-sur-Oust of the canton of Rochefort-en-Terre and the municipality of Pleucadeuc of the canton of Questembert belong to the association.
With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Guer Communauté and the Communauté de communes du Pays de la Gacilly and thus formed the successor organization De l'Oust à Brocéliande Communauté .
