The Comunità Montana Monti della Tolfa is an association of only two municipalities in the Italian metropolitan city of Rome . It was formed by the usually quite small communities, which are at least partly in mountainous regions, in order to strengthen the region's economic development and to stop the population from emigrating. Further tasks are the strengthening of tourism, nature conservation and the preservation of rural culture.
The area of the Comunità Montana includes the Tolfa Mountains north of Rome between the Tyrrhenian Sea and Lake Bracciano .
