The Comunità Montana della Media e Bassa Val di Vara was a Comunità montana in the northern Italian region of Liguria . Politically it belonged to the province of La Spezia and consisted of the eight municipalities Beverino , Bolano , Borghetto di Vara , Brugnato , Calice al Cornoviglio , Follo , Pignone and Riccò del Golfo di Spezia .
A regional law from 2010 abolished the Comunità montane of the Liguria region. The administrative community is in liquidation.

The territory of the administrative community comprised the section between La Spezia , the Cinque Terre , the estuary of the Magra and the province of Massa-Carrara . Part of the territory belonged to the Montemarcello-Magra Natural Park .
