Confederation of European Baseball
The Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) is the European baseball association based in Lausanne , Switzerland .
The association was founded in 1953 by the five founding members Belgium , Germany , France , Italy and Spain .
Currently (2012) the association has 38 members. The newest member is Latvia and in 2011 Armenia left the European Baseball Association.
The CEB is responsible for organizing the European baseball championships and has around 150,000 active members. The CEB is also the host of the annual CEB European Cup , the European baseball cup , which has been played in two pools (tournaments) since 2008. The first and second of the pools then determine the CEB European Champions Cup in the European Champion Cup Final Four .
