André Poloczek
André Poloczek (born December 29, 1959 in Wuppertal , artist name Polo ) is a German draftsman and cartoonist .
Poloczek published his first cartoons in 1978 in the Haltern municipal section of the Ruhr-Nachrichten . From 1981 to 1988 he studied sociology and German in Düsseldorf and Wuppertal. His first cartoon band was published in 1992 in Semmel-Verlach. Poloczek's cartoons have so far appeared in Cicero , specifically , taz , Wuppertaler Rundschau , Eulenspiegel and Stern . From 2009 to 2012 he formed the cartoonist duo Jünger & Schlanker with the Hamburg satirist Andreas Greve . Poloczek lives and works in Wuppertal.
