Andreas Greve
Andreas Greve (born January 7, 1953 in Hamburg ) is a German poet , writer , satirist and journalist .
life and work
Andreas Greve grew up in Hamburg-Altona . He studied art education in Braunschweig and then completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter in a collective company in Denmark, where he lived for a good ten years. The first picture books - some self-illustrated - appeared at the end of the 1980s and some have been translated into various European and non-European languages. Andreas Greve wrote a few scripts, wrote satires for newspapers and radio as well as on NDR television ( extra 3 ) and worked as a travel writer ( Geo Saison , Geo Special , Mare , SZ-Magazin, etc.).
From 2003 to 2008 he lived partly on La Palma , where he founded and directed the small library "Bila" - "Biblioteca international en lengua alemana". From 2009 to 2011 Andreas Greve was the non-drawing part of the cartoonist duo “Jünger & Schlanker” (Andreas Greve and André Poloczek ).
Since 2013 he has published several volumes of poetry. He performs regularly in and around Hamburg with his lyrical cargo bike "Librette".
Andreas Greve is the author of poetry, picture books, narrative works, satires and essays. He has published several books and booklets in collaboration with the cartoonist and painter Til Mette and the designer Michel Löwenherz.
