Conner Joseph Sullivan (born June 17, 1992 in Irvine , California ) is an American athlete. He studied at the University of Southern California , where he was active in baseball, javelin and mostly as a quarterback in American football for the USC Trojans . In 2017 he played football with the Stuttgart Scorpions in Germany .

biography

Conner Sullivan was born in Irvine, California and attended a private Lutheran High School of Orange County in Orange County . Even there he played on both the baseball team and the school football team.

Originally, he wanted to enroll at Duke University (North Carolina), but then decided on the USC in Los Angeles on the basis of a sports scholarship for baseball. In the 2012 season he took part in 26 matches.

In the sophomore year he moved to the football team, where he played as a quarterback on the Scout team. The scout team is used to analyze the opposing team and to simulate their moves for the regular players during training.

In the third year of his studies, he joined USC athletics and achieved good scores in the javelin throw. In the spring of the same academic year he received a sports scholarship for football and was regularly on the pitch as a placekick holder (2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons). Since 2015 he has also been listed as a quarterback.

He majored in business administration with a minor in film studies .

In the run-up to the 2017 season, Sullivan moved to the Stuttgart Scorpions in the top German division, the GFL . When the Stuttgart were in danger of relegation this season, displeasure with Sullivan arose. Ultimately, they managed to stay in the league.

Media appearances

Sullivan operates a YouTube channel with over 850,000 subscribers (as of March 8, 2020) , on which he reports on life at university, his sporting activities and his stays abroad. A video of the second division match between VfB Stuttgart and Karlsruher SC in April 2017 attracted media attention. The game caught the attention of rioting fans of the guests in Stuttgart.
