Conrad Rücker

Conrad Rücker (born April 20, 1823 in Hamburg ; † February 7, 1875 there ) was a German businessman .

Life

Conrad Rücker was a son of the Hamburg Senator Friedrich Rücker (1788-1862) and his wife Louise, née Engelbach (1795-1865). He entered his father's commercial business, which he ran under the Friedrich Rücker company. After the death of the father in 1862 and the entry of J. Warnholtz, the company was renamed Rücker & Warnholtz.

Rücker served in the Hamburg citizen military , he was captain of the 3rd company of the 6th battalion from 1855 to 1861 . In other offices, Rücker was a tax citizen from 1860 to 1862, provisional agent of the inn from 1860 to 1865, member of the customs and excise deputation in 1862 and 1863 and member of the deputation for indirect taxes and duties from 1864 to 1868.

In 1862 and from 1865 to 1868 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament.

Conrad Rücker married Louise Justine Lüders (1831–1889) on March 4, 1851, they had three daughters and two sons.
