The Construction Point is headland on the Borchgrevink coast of East Antarctica Victoria Land . It is located in the north of the Hallett Peninsula and marks both the west side of the entrance to Willett Cove and the southern end of Seabee Hook .
Participants in the first Operation Deep Freeze of the United States Navy took a survey from aboard the icebreaker in January 1956 USCGC Edisto ago. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the headland in 1956, based on the name of the Seabee Hook, which got its name after the construction battalions , the construction crews of the US Navy .
