Container 90 is an EBM project from the Swedish city of Kungsör .
Band history
Jonas Rundberg and Ronny Larsson founded Container 90 in January 2004 in order to make EBM in the style of their role models Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb . The first album Scandinavian Masters was released in 2006 in self-production . After the band had gained a fan base through appearances at smaller festivals, especially in East Germany, World ChampionShit at Out of Line / SPV followed two years later . While the Sonic Seducer called the record “EBM record of the year” and “jewel that will surely shine on us for years to come”, other reviewers criticized the record for being too unimaginative. Whiskey-soda.de called World ChampionShit a "boring retro pack" and metal.de judged: "However, if you expect something innovative or extraordinary," World Champion Shit "is completely wrong."
style
The style of Container 90 is described as old-school EBM in the style of the 1980s and early 1990s . But there are also comparisons to punk and hardcore .
