Convergence Center
A Convergence Center (CC) (German: "Place of Meeting") has been a temporarily set up central place for knowledge distribution, communication and action preparation for people who protests against a summit or the conference of an international military or economic organization, for example the NATO .
tasks
A convergence center primarily serves as a central point of contact for activists from all over the world who arrive at a major event . In addition to providing and arranging sleeping places and food, other tasks include providing information and the possibility of communication. “ The CC rooms offer a platform for discussion, information, coordination and action, among other things. A convergence center is mostly located in alternative residential and cultural projects.
