The Conway Lake is a 252 km² large subglacial lake at the Gould Coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd lands . It lies under the Whillans Ice Stream .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2019 based on the naming of the neighboring Conway Ice Ridge . Its namesake is the American geophysicist Howard B. Conway from the University of Washington , who studied at the Siple Dome from 1994 to 1995 and at the Meserve Glacier from 1994 to 1995 and was the team leader of the team, which from 2001 to 2002 was the glacial team Investigated the origin of the press back.
