The Cooper Developmental Road is a trunk road in the southwest of the Australian state of Queensland . It runs in a south-west-north-east direction and has a length of 229 km. It connects the Bulloo Developmental Road near Nockatunga with the Diamantina Developmental Road in Naretha .

The street is named after Cooper Creek , which runs roughly parallel approximately 70–100 km west.

Immediately west of the Wilson River , the Cooper Developmental Road initially leads 7 km to the northwest. In this area it is also called Adventure Way . This road then branches off to the west and crosses Cooper Creek towards the border with South Australia , while Cooper Developmental Road continues north. At Bundeena it leads first to the east and then to the northeast between the McGregor Range and the Gray Range through to Eromanga

From Eromanga the road continues to the east, towards Quilpie . At Naretha she meets the Diamantina Developmental Road.

Except for an approx. 10 km long section south of Bellalie , the road is paved throughout.
