The Wilson River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Queensland .
geography
River course
The river has its source in the northern part of the Gray Range northeast of the settlement Tobermory and initially flows in a north-westerly direction to the south of the settlement of Mount Margaret . There it turns its course to the southwest to the city of Noccundra. West of the city, the river seeps away . Many kilometers further west, it emerges again at Oonagie Sandhill and continues its course for another 27 km to the southwest, where it flows into Cooper Creek east of Nappa Merie .
