The Copland Pass is a 1600  m high mountain pass in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range , it leads over the Frostbite Spine , the ridge between the Hooker Glacier and the Salient Glacier .

New Zealand geologist Robert H. Findlay, head of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program team that worked in the area between 1981 and 1982, named the pass after its New Zealand counterpart .
