Corbeyran (actually Éric Corberant , born December 14, 1964 in Marseille ) is a French comic book author .

Life

Éric Corberant was born in Marseille in 1964 . He started his career as a freelance graphic designer and animator in a holiday resort. In 1990 he released his first comic album with The Claws of the Swamp . At the end of the 90s he celebrated his first great success with Richard Guérineau with Der Gesang der Strygen . Corbeyran has now written well over 100 comics and is one of the most sought-after scenarioists in France.

Corbeyran has written numerous other series around The Song of the Strygen with changing artists, which take place in the same universe.

In 2000 and 2010 Corbeyran was awarded the Prix ​​Tournesol at the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême , in 2000 for Paroles de taulards and in 2010 for Climax - Le Désert blanc .
