Corella Creek is located in the Northern Territory in Australia about 850 kilometers southeast of Darwin and 230 km north-east of Tennant Creek at an elevation of 220 meters above sea level. The small Aboriginal settlement is the easternmost village in the Northern Territory. The Arafura Sea , part of the Indian Ocean , is about 280 km northeast.
There is a school in Corella Creek.
In 1901, bush robber and cattle thief Harry Redford drowned in Corella Creek, which was flooding . He is famous in Australia for stealing a herd of around 1000 cattle and not being convicted.
