Corinne Breuzé (born November 7, 1959 ) is a diplomat (second class envoy) from France .

Career

In addition to French, Breuzé speaks German, English, Arabic, Italian and Portuguese. She has a diploma in modern literature and Arabic and a degree from the Institut national des langues et civilizations orientales .

From 1984 to 1985 she worked in the central administration with a focus on North Africa and the Middle East. Until 1986 she was the second embassy secretary and until 1988 first embassy secretary in Tripoli ( Libya ). This was followed by the post of deputy consul in the consulate in Rome ( Italy ) until 1992. Back in the central administration, Breuzé was responsible for coordinating the free movement of persons within the European Economic Area until 1994 . In 1994 she was a technical advisor in the Office of the Minister for European Affairs. From 1994 to 1995, Breuzé was Deputy Head of the Foreign Service, responsible for French people abroad and foreigners in France.

From 1995, Breuzé worked abroad again. In Brasília she served as deputy cultural advisor until 1997 and as advisor for culture, science and cooperation until 1999. By 2002 Breuzé was again in the central administration in the function of a deputy director in the consular department. From 2002 to 2005 she took on the post of Consul General in Casablanca ( Morocco ) and from 2005 to 2007 she was ambassador to Kuwait . Then she became a diplomatic advisor. Until 2009 in the office of the Minister for Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Co-Development and between January and August 2009 also in the Cabinet of the Minister for Labor, Social Relations, Family, Solidarity and Cities.

From 2009 to 2012, Breuzé was ambassador to Amman, Jordan, and finally became ambassador to Jakarta in February 2013 , with accreditation for Indonesia and East Timor . She held the office until 2016. Here she was replaced by Jean-Charles Berthonnet .
