Cornelia Juergens

Cornelia Jürgens (born July 18, 1955 in Dortmund ) is a Hamburg politician of the GAL-Hamburg and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and politics

The trained teacher was already politically active in school and student representatives. She was also active in the “Hamburg tenants movement”, citizens' initiatives and in the women's list “Cheeky Women”.

She became a member of the Greens in 1982 and was a member of the district assembly in Hamburg-Mitte .

From November 1986 to February 1989 and from 1991 to 1993 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament . There she was on the building committee, committee for the constitution, rules of procedure and electoral examination as well as in the urban development committee.
