Cornelia Rickert (born July 30, 1954 in Kühlungsborn , today Cornelia Engel ) is a former German volleyball player .

Cornelia Rickert was a 95-time GDR national player . She took part in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal and finished sixth. Cornelia Rickert played for SC Traktor Schwerin and was GDR champion several times . They also won the 1975 UEFA Cup Winners 'Cup and the 1978 European Champion Clubs' Cup .

Cornelia Rickert's daughter Doreen Engel is a volleyball player in the German Bundesliga .
