Cornelius Edwards (* 27. May 1956 in Kampala , Uganda ) is a former Ugandan boxers in the super featherweight and southpaw . He was managed by Mickey Duff .
On March 8, 1981, he defeated the Mexican Rafael Limón and thereby became world champion of the WBC association . He defended this title at the end of May against the American Bobby Chacon by giving up in round 13 and then lost it to Rolando Navarrete by classic knockout in round 5.
