Cornelius Bundrage (born April 25, 1973 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American professional boxer and former world champion of the IBF in the light middleweight division.

Bundrage only played twelve amateur fights before moving to the professional camp in 1995 and winning his first 21 fights in a row, 13 of them by knockout. These opponents, however, had the status of build-up opponents who did not pose a serious challenge. On May 6, 2005 he boxed against the unbeaten Sechew Powell and lost after a rare double knockdown by tKo in round 1. On February 10, 2006 he lost against ex-IBF world champion Steve Forbes on points and was also subject to the two-time World Cup Challenger Joel Julio by tKo in lap 8.

On December 13, 2008 in Mannheim he defeated the undefeated (19-0) European champion Zaurbek Bajsangurow by tKo in round 5. On June 27, 2009 he boxed against the undefeated (27-0) eventual WBA world champion Yuri Foreman . The fight remained unrated, as Foreman was injured by an accidental headbutt and could no longer box.

On August 7, 2010 he secured himself by tKo in round 5 against Cory Spinks , the IBF light middleweight world champion belt, and defended it on June 25, 2011 against Sechew Powell by winning points. On June 30, 2012 he won the rematch against Cory Spinks by tKo in round 7.

On February 23, 2013, he lost his IBF belt in his third defense of the title by losing points to Ishe Smith . In October 2014 he won the title back by beating Carlos Amado Molina on points.

On September 12, 2015, he lost the title through a knockout defeat to Jermall Charlo .
