Cornelius Hamecher

Cornelius Hamecher (born November 17, 1872 in Hochfeld , † November 19, 1925 in Berlin ) was a post office worker and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Hamecher attended the elementary and community school in Hilden , the Progymnasium in Opladen and the grammar school in Emmerich . In 1889 he started as a postal assistant, in 1893 he became postal assistant and in 1903 postal secretary. Between 1901 and 1906 he was chairman of the Association of German Post and Telegraph Assistants.

From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Cologne Region 2 Cologne-Land and the German Center Party .
