Cosmin Bodea (born June 12, 1973 in Beiuş ) is a former Romanian football player who played for FC Braşov , where he was also the captain. He played a total of 195 games in the Romanian League 1 and the Turkish Süper Lig .

Player career

Bodea's career began in 1994 with FC Bihor Oradea in the Romanian second division . In 1995 he moved to FC Brașov in the Divizia Națională . There he played a season before the top club Dinamo Bucharest signed him in the summer of 1996 . He was used regularly at Dinamo. In 1998 Sakaryaspor brought him to Turkey. After a season he returned to Romania to FC Brașov. There Bodea became the main force. In the 2001/02 season he took part with his team in the UEFA Cup . After relegation in 2005 , he stayed in Brașov. In early 2007 he moved to Alki Larnaka in Cyprus, where he ended his career a short time later.

Coaching career

After finishing his football career, Bodea began a career as a coach.
