Cotyledon eliseae grows as a round, branched small shrub with a height of up to 20 centimeters. The shoots that become woody with age reach a diameter of up to 5 millimeters. The green and obovate leaves are covered with glandular hairs and are 1.5 to 3.4 inches long and 1 to 1.4 inches wide. The surface of the leaves is curved outwards on both sides. In the upper third of the leaves they are reddish purple in color. The inflorescence towers above the leaves and is up to 8 centimeters high with 1 to 3 dichasias . The inflorescence stalk , up to 2 millimeters in diameter, is brownish to purple in color. The flower stalk is up to 18 millimeters long. The approximately 2.5 millimeters long and 3 millimeters wide sepals are provided with a purple-green pattern. Their flower tube reaches a length of up to 12 millimeters with a diameter of 5 to 6 millimeters. The lanceolate, deep red corolla lobes are spread out and up to 15 millimeters long. The flattened stamens are white and up to 12 millimeters long. The square and fleshy nectar flakes are yellow and 1 × 1 millimeter in size.
