Covenant is a band from Helsingborg , Sweden , formed on April 26, 1986 . Originally at home in the electro environment, the band's most recently published works tended towards future pop , with borrowings from trip-hop , ambient , dance and drum and bass .

history

Her first album, Dreams of a Cryotank , was successfully marketed in 1994 in the mainly German electronic scene . The three founders Joakim Montelius, Clas Nachmanson and Eskil Simonsson chose their project name, which comes from the Bible and means ' solemn alliance ', to represent their deep bond and friendship to the outside world. With their second album Sequencer , which was released in 1996, they finally conquered the clubs in Europe and even in America they won fans who convinced them with a small US tour in 1997.
