Covid
The Covid , also Cobido , Covado or Covit , was a measure of length and was considered a small cubit . The large cubit was the guz with the long and the short form ( guz bozar ).
The Covid was valid in East India and Canton (China) , Arabia , British Bengal and many other smaller regions. For example, in the East Indies and in the Canton of China, 1 Covid = 208 3/20 Parisian lines = 469 millimeters, among other measurements.
The measure was not uniform and had these values:

- Bombay , Calcutta , Madras 1 Covid = 202 13/20 Paris lines = 456 millimeters; 4000 Covid = 1 Coß

- Canton of China 1 Covid = 10 Punt / Pont = 164 16/25 Parisian lines = 370 millimeters
- Surat East India 1 Covid = 208.3 Parisian Lines = 469 millimeters
- Bantam 1 Covid = 223 Parisian lines = 502.8 millimeters
- Bengal 1 Covid = 178 4/5 Parisian lines = 403.6 millimeters
