The Crawford River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Victoria .
geography
The river has its source in the southwest of the state, about 20 kilometers southwest of the city of Hamilton . It flows west through the settlement of Crawford and the small town of Hotspur . Between Hotspur and Dartmoor, it flows through Crawford River State Park , a state reserve in which the river makes a tight loop to the south and then returns to the west direction. In the small town of Dartmoor it flows into the Glenelg River .
