Creature Funk is the first studio album by the band Puppetmastaz , which consists exclusively of hand puppets.
History of origin
After several EPs , the album was created in 2003 and was recorded by various artists. It contains 14 songs and three skits and was produced by Patric Catani , Bomb 20 and N1tro . The songs Pet Sound , Zoology and Humans Get All the Credit were released on different EPs in 2002 and 2003. The CD contains a computer game in the style of Dance Dance Revolution . The artists who adopt the language of the puppets include Chilly Gonzales , Mocky , Adam Traynor, Max Turner and Blake Worrell.

Music genre
The songs consist entirely of posse-cut - hip-hop , which means that several rappers rap their parts one after the other. The music style is mostly old school hip hop with simple rhyme schemes . The lyrics of the songs mostly relate to the existence of a doll and reasons why dolls are better than people. So Pet Sound is about dolls making different, better music than humans and in Hip Hop Police the dolls are hunted by the human police. One example is Humans Get All the Credit , in which the puppets even compare themselves to individual acting and singing greats, such as Bruce Lee , Diana Ross or Clint Eastwood . Quote: " Better than Clint Eastwood or Robin Hood ! ", " I must commit that Bruce Lee is the best (...) Baby, but you know I knocked him out! ".
